What is your shipping time? TOP

Almost all orders go out within 7 business days of purchase.  If you are mailing a check, your merchandise will be shipped out after I have received your check.  Most orders actually ship out well before 7 business days but circumstances surrounding being a work-at-home mom occasionally might delay work flow.  If you have placed a large order, please allow a few extra days for ship time.  We offer high quality hand made items that are "cooked to order" :)

How will my items be shipped? TOP

All orders are shipped via USPS first class mail in a new box to assure that your bows won't be crushed!  If you would like your bows shipped via priority mail, please email me.  There will be an increase of shipping fees in the amount of $1.50.  There is a flat rate shipping charge at preciousbows.com of only $3.50.  All orders over $50 are always shipped at no cost to you!

Which clip is best for my child? TOP

I reccomend the alligator clips for babies and toddlers with fine hair or thin hair.  These clips are great in that they slip right in the child's hair.  You just simply pinch the clip open on one end and slide it into the hair!  If you are purchasing an interchangeable headband, I also reccomend alligator clips for those as well.
 
I like to say that the French barrettes have more "staying power" on busy toddlers and big girls' hair.  For example, I have 2 rowdy and busy little girls who are 2 and 3 years old.  I put their hair in a ponytail and then place a bow on a French barrette directly in front of their ponytail.  I have found that they do not slide around much at all, where the alligator clips would fall out because of their busy little bodies and hands!  For reference purposes, I use a 1.5 inch French barrette for my 2 year old and a 2 inch or 2.25 inch barrette for my 3.5 year old.
